Part of JAMKO`s advocacy team is participating in building a more caring higher education community at the @jamk.fi Dare to Care seminar! Anna, Stella, Sonja and Aamos are tuned in.

Today we went deeper into how to raise concerns in the high school community and how to respond to challenging situations together. Thank you to Jamk`s Guidance and Wellbeing team for an important seminar - caring is a team effort!

Valmistuvalle jäsenelle tutkintotodistuksen tulostus ja kansio JAMKOn kautta!

Tarjoamme nyt jäsenillemme mahdollisuuden tulostaa oman tutkintotodistuksensa JAMKOn toimistolla! Tutkintotodistus tulostetaan paksummalle paperille (160g/m2) ja se ojennetaan tilaajalle kiiltävässä UV-lakkauksella varustetussa kartonkisessa kansiossa (300g/m2), johon on painettu tyylikäs kuviointi. Tulostus sekä kansio ovat jäsenelle ilmaisia.

Tutkintotodistuksen tulostuksen voit varata itsellesi lähettämällä viestiä asiakaspalvelu@jamko.fi sähköpostiin. Jäsenyys tarkistetaan tilauksen yhteydessä.

Graduating members, get your degree certificate printed and a folder through JAMKO!

For our members we now offer a chance to print their own degree certificates in JAMKO’s office! The degree certificate will be printed to thicker paper (160g/m2) and it will be handed to you in a shiny UV-varnished carton folder (300g/m2) with a stylish design. The printing and the folder are free for our members.

Degree certificate printing can be reserved for yourself by sending a message to asiakaspalvelu@jamko.fi email. Your membership will be checked during the ordering process.

Mikäli olet saanut 10 suoritusta, joista vähintään 3 on tapahtumia, olet oikeutettu Fuksi-haalarimerkkiin. Jos olet saanut 15 suoritusta, joista 5 on tapahtumia, saat merkkiin vielä upean “Super” lisämerkin. Lisäksi osallistut arvontaan “Superfuksi” palkinnosta muiden vähintään 15 leimaa keränneiden kesken. Eniten leimoja kerännyt saa Gigafuksi-palkinnon ja toisiksi eniten kerännyt Hyperfuksi-palkinnon. If you have completed 10 tasks, of which at least 3 are events, you are eligible for a freshman overall badge. If you have 15 completed tasks, 5 of which are events, you will also receive the fabulous ”Super” badge. You will also be entered into a draw for a ”Super Freshman” prize among the other 15 or more completions. The person with the most stamps will receive the Gigafuksi prize and the second most will receive the Hyperfuksi prize. In the case of a tie, these prizes will be drawn. Jupinaviikkojen palautekyselyssä opiskelijat pääsivät kertomaan kuka @jamk.fi henkilöstöstä ansaitsisi extrakiitosta hyvästä, opiskelijalähtöisestä työstään. Tänä vuonna eniten ääniä tasatuloksella keräsivät Hyvinvointiyksikön Suvi Aunala ja Seija Tiilikainen, onnea! 🥳
Molemmat saivat hurjasti kiitosta siitä, miten he kohtaavat opiskelijat yksilöinä, osoittavat aitoa välittämistä ja tarjoavat empaattista, kannustavaa opetusta.🫶

Koko JAMKOn hallituksen puolesta PJ Otso, Kopo Aamos ja Sopo Sonja kävivät tänään ojentamassa "Vuoden henkilöstön jäsen" -palkinnot yhteisen kahvitteluhetken kera. Tulipa samalla pohdittua niin opiskelijoiden hyvinvointia kuin myös eri koulutusalojen uniikkeja eroavaisuuksia.

In the Grumble week survey, students had the chance to vote which member of Jamk`s staff deserves extra thanks for their student-centered work. This year, Suvi Aunala and Seija Tiilikainen from the School of Health and Social Studies received the most votes, ending in a tie. Congratulations! 🥳
Both received heaps of praise for the way they meet students as individuals, show genuine care and provide empathetic, encouraging teaching. 🫶

On behalf of the entire JAMKO board, Chair Otso, Kopo Aamos and Sopo Sonja handed out the "Staff Member of The Year" awards today over a shared coffee moment. Along the way, they also reflected on student well-being and the unique differences between various study fields.
