MENTOR RECRUITMENT FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2017-2018
11.-24.9
Application period is during 11.-24.9. Student that has completed a course on a student tutoring, a degree student tutoring or an international student tutoring, can apply as a mentor. Mentors help other students to proceed with their studies and guide them with issues related to internship, exchange period, thesis and graduation. MEMBER SERVICE ON JAMK CAMPUSES

JAMKO’s member service points are open at Dynamo, Music campus and Tarvaala. JAMKO’s office is open as usual and don’t close for lunch or coffee break. New student cards, semester stickers and event tickets can be acquired from the points. Note that points on Dynamo, Music and Tarvaala campus take only card payments. JAMKO’s representatives meeting addresses the current issues of student representatives in different work groups, the materials of University of Applied Sciences Students in Finland – SAMOK general assembly and regulations, rules of JAMKO. FRESHMEN PARTY CAUSES CHANGES IN PARKING

JAMKOs Freshmen Party will take place this Thursday 14th of September. The parking lot in front of the F-wing of Rajakatu will serve as a starting area at the event. Parking at the area is prohibited from Wednesday 13th of Sept from 7 p.m. until Thu Sept 14th 6 p.m. The event begins at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday the 14th. TRUSTEESHIP TEAMS START ROLLING

Trusteeship team is an open, relaxed event for all who are interested in current topics that consider students. The topic of the next Trusteeship team is the act of affecting and making a change in JAMK and in the city of Jyväskylä. JAMKO Cafe 19.9. at 5pm. The team is organized in Finnish, but can be partly translated.

Come and join us for a sporty autumn day at Jyväskylän Latu’s cottage! The event is held on Sept 19th starting from 4pm. We’ll start the route from Main Campus- F – doors with bikes at 4 p.m. The day brings along different sports, fun outdoor activities and there is also sauna! JOPA’S HIKING COURSE
