A thesis is always a show of dedication which is worth giving a shape that will stand the test of time. In book form, the work and the memory will be preserved in style on your bookshelf. The book-binding service of JAMKO will make your thesis into a book quickly and stylishly. The theses will be bound in black hardcover editions, with gilded cover and back inscription.

The most convenient way to get a binding is to order with the electronic form below. The thesis will be attached onto the form.

TAKE NOTICE! The thesis book binding service will go on a break after 7.12. The orders received afterwards will be handled on January 2026.

Pricing

  • The first book of an order 60,00 € (binding, hard covers, gilded text)
  • The second and subsequent books á 30,00 € (for people ordering multiple copies)

To this will be added the prices of pages:

  • An A4 in black-and-white 0,07 €/page
  • An A4 in color 0,30 €/page
  • An A3 in black-and-white 0,22 €/page
  • An A3 in color 1,12 €/page

Notice! Please keep in mind that if you want color pages, the whole work will be printed with automatic color selection which means that all the pages with color will be automatically printed as color pages. If you don’t want to pay for extra color pages (for example the reference page with hyperlinks), you should change those pages to black and white. In other cases we will charge you for all of the printed color pages. If you select the black and white – selection, every page will be printed black and white, regardless of the original settings.

The prices are tied to the printing standard of hardcover theses, defined by JAMK UAS. If the thesis is bound according to other standards, the prices may vary.

The order is paid at JAMKO office during pick-up, either in cash or by card (Debit, Credit, Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard).

Orders to be sent to the customer and invoicing:

The delivery and the invoice can only be addressed to the person who ordered the binding. Costs are added to the price of the binding.

  • Postage fee 8,50€
  • Invoice fee 7,00€

When the binding is ready

When you submit your order to JAMKO by Thursday at 1:30 p.m., it will be finished the following week. Orders received after this will not be forwarded to the press until next week. The delivery time for the order is 4-6 working days. Possible weekends and rush season will extend delivery time. When the order is ready, you will receive a message via email.

You can choose the delivery method on the order form. Delivery options include pick-up from JAMKO’s office within opening hours and mailing. Delivery costs are added to mailed and invoiced jobs according to the price list.

JAMKO is not liable for theses lost in the mail, or theses that have been packaged accordingly, but have been broken during postage.

To be noted before ordering

  • The thesis has to be in PDF – format. The PDF must be created by printing, not using the Save option in Microsoft Word, for example. You can do the printing version PDF in Word by clicking Print, then choosing the printer “Microsoft Print to PDF”.
  • The size of text pages is A4. On all pages, the page margins must be at least 2,5 cm (top, bottom and inner edge) and at least 2,0 cm (outer edge). Please ensure that all images, tables and charts are also within these margins. 
  • All pages are in a single document, and ordered correctly in the PDF.
  • If you mean to bind your thesis into different versions, both need to be ordered separately. If this is the case, please mention it under further information in the form.
  • Check that your thesis is fit to be printed before submitting it.

  • The thesis is printed one-sided for the book binding.

Place an order

When your order has been placed succesfully, a confirmation message will be displayed. JAMKO is not liable for the validity of the order or the thesis associated with it, or for delays caused by a third party. The order is binding!
