How to obtain your membership

  1. Go to JAMKO web shop at https://kide.app/ and register. To register, click the Log in icon on the top right corner of the page, and click Create an account.
  2. Enter the requested information on the registration form and click Create an account.
  3. Now you have registered and signed in to our web shop. Find the JAMKO membership in the web shop. The easiest way to do this is to open the search bar by clicking the magnifying glass icon on the top of the page, and type JAMKO in the search bar. You can also go to our Kide.app profile from this link.
  4. Click on JAMKO Jäsenyys / JAMKO Membership.
  5. Now you can choose which membership option you want to get. You can choose to pay your membership fee for the current term, or you can pay your fee for the entire academic year at once. You can also choose whether you want to order a physical student card, or only use the digital student card (included in the membership fee). More information about digital student cards below.
  • Please note: If you don’t have a Finnish social security number and Finnish online banking and want to have a digital student card, you can activate Kide.app digital student card.

  1. When you click on your chosen membership option, the web shop will ask you to login with your Haka-credentials. For this, you will need your Jamk login credentials. Haka login is used to check that you are an attending student at Jamk and entitled to JAMKO membership.
  2. After Haka login, you can fill the order form. Fill in all the requested personal and study information.
  • If your chosen membership option includes a physical student card, you will also be asked to download a photo of yourself for the student card.
  1. Once you have filled in all the required information, click Proceed to checkout.
  2. Now you can select your payment method. After this, click on Place order. You will now be asked to enter your payment information.
  3. You have now paid for your membership and joined JAMKO!

Getting your student card

JAMKO members can choose from several different student card options, selecting the one that best suits their needs or even using several options at the same time if they wish.

Physical student card

The physical card can be bought as a separate order. Ordering the physical student card costs 10€ during card season sales or 15€ outside the card selling season sales. The card selling seasons for the separate physical student card are:

  • From the beginning of June until the end of September (1.6. – 30.9.) and
  • From the beginning of December until the end of February (1.12. – 28.2.).

If you ordered a physical student card, the card will be sent to JAMKO office. You will receive an email to your Jamk email address, when your student card is ready and can be picked up. The delivery time is 1-3 weeks.

Notice! Physical student cards ordered during JAMKO office’s summer break will arrive on August.

Digital student card

Digital student card

JAMKO members are offered several different student card options, from which they can choose the one that suits them best, or if they wish, they can also use several options at the same time. The digital student card is activated in a mobile app. There are 2 options for digital student cards: Slice and Kide.app.

SLICE

  1. Go to slice.fi/upload Or start the activation process of the digital student card through the email Slice has sent to you. Slice email will be sent to new members and to members, whose membership has ended before renewing their membership. 
  2. Select JAMKO.
  3. Fill out the form to receive an activation code (the information you provide must match the information provided to JAMKO).
  4. Download the Slice app from Google Play or the App Store.
  5. Open the app and log in.
  6. Enter the username and password (activation code) you received by email.
  7. Accept the terms of use, as the application cannot be used without it. You can also check this in your phone’s settings.

KIDE.APP

You can activate your digital student card in Kide.app right after you have paid your membership fee in our web shop. In order to activate the Kide.app student card, you only need to have your JAMK login credentials for Haka authentication.

To activate your Kide.app digital student card:

  1. Navigate to the tab ‘student card’ in Kide.app Wallet or from the main menu, to activate your student card.
  2. Do Haka authentication.
  3. Upload a photo of yourself. Preview and supplement the information obtained from Haka if necessary.
