THE BENEFITS OF THE GREEN STUDENT CARD CHANGED AUG 1st
Mon 1.8.
The conditions of student card have been changed. All students who are enrolled at a UAS and studying for a UAS first or second cycle degree are entitled for a blue student card. The changes regarding the green student card mean that the previous right for Kela student lunch subsidy ended on August 1st 2016. Almost all previous green student card holders can now get the blue one. https://www.jamko.fi/en/student-card-requirements-change/

Student card is JAMKOs membership card and you can join as a member for the whole year or just for a semester. RENEW MEMBERSHIP VIA JAMKO.FI

Current members need to renew their membership via JAMKO’s website in order to get a valid semester sticker to their student card. Last semester’s stickers expire by the end of September and the renewal must be done to maintain the student benefits. MEMBER SERVICE POINTS OPEN ON JAMK’S CAMPUSES

JAMKO’s member service points open at Dynamo, Music campus and Tarvaala. JAMKO’s office is open as usual and don’t close for lunch or coffee break. THE FRESHMEN PARTY TURSAJAISET ARE COMING – TICKETS SOLD NOW!

On 15.9. beginning at 14.30 at JAMKO’s Freshmen party there will be astronauts, hitchhikers of the Galaxy and Darth Vaders taking over the city. With the price of 10€ of Tursajaiset wristband you can attend the check point competition, get a voucher to Aprilli and an entrance to afterparty at Bra2! ORDER YOUR OVERALLS VIA STUDY FIELD ASSOCIATIONS
Mon 29.8. – Fri 2.9.
Orientation week is not only time of learning new stuff but also time of overall fittings. Fittings started on Monday and will end on Friday Sept 2nd. IMPORTANT CHANGES IN PRINTING AND COPYING
Tue 30.8.
Students need to use Secure printing (SecurePrint-Student) and all printing, copying and scanning requires a PIN code. A SecurePrint-Student print job can be released on any multifunction device by using a personal PIN code. REGISTRATION WITH STUDENT DISCOUNT TO FINLANDIA MARATHON
Fri 2.9.
Finlandia Marathon offers three running distances: 10 km, 1/2-marathon and marathon, and all courses go along beautiful Jyväsjärvi lake. Event is held September 16th and 17th. Students can register with discount until 2.9 here: http://ilmoittautuminen.kesli.fi/ilmoittautuminen/

WaterXfest 2016 welcomes you and your friends to Jyväskylä harbour on Saturday 3/9 to follow the most high-class Watercross event in all of Europe. Stunt racing and live music also included.
