DELAYS IN JAMKO MEMBERSHIP CARD DELIVERIES
Tue 13.9.
The card provider has notified, that the majority of cards ordered after Aug 30th will be delayed due to shortage of card bases. According to the latest info, the next bigger lot of cards will be delivered in the end of week 38 and can be delivered to the students in the beginning of week 39. Well inform to the school email when the card ready to be picked up. Follow your school email. JAMKO apologizes for the delays.

Student card is JAMKOs membership card and you can join as a member for the whole year or just for a semester. RENEW MEMBERSHIP BY THE END OF SEPTEMBER

Current members need to renew their membership via JAMKO’s website in order to get a valid semester sticker to their student card. Last semester’s stickers expire by the end of September and the renewal must be done to maintain the student benefits. Enrollment for mentoring starts Sep 12th and ends Sep 18th. The study module is meant for students who have been tutors. As a mentor you can help second and third year students, have a chance to market JAMK and share your own experiences and knowledge to the new tutors. FRESHMEN PARTY CAUSES CHANGES IN PARKING

JAMKOs Freshmen Party will take place this Thursday the 15.9. The parking lot in front of the F-wing of Rajakatu will serve as a starting area at the event. Parking at the area is prohibited from Wednesday 14.9. 6PM until Thursday 15.9. 6PM. The event begins at 2.30PM on Thursday the 15th and will last approximately until 5PM. OVERALL OATH PARTY

In the Overall Oath party new students swear a student’s oath to revere overalls and those who are wearing a pair. The Overall Oath is held in Sept 27th at BRA2 and is free from 8pm to 10pm for everyone wearing overalls. From 10pm the tickets are 3€ with JAMKO’s student card and 5€ without.
