You can only become a tutor through JAMKO’s tutor recruitment process, which takes place twice a year. The next application will be held from January 30 to February 12 2023. In this application, we are looking for exchangetutors for exchange students arriving in Finland in autumn 2023 and peer tutors for students of Finnish degree programs starting in autumn 2023 for the following fields:

The second tutor recruitment for 2023 is in September-October 2023, when we will recruit and train tutors for students of English-language degree programs starting in autumn 2024 and exchangetutors for exchange students arriving in Finland in January-February 2024
All those who fill out the tutor application form are invited to a group interview (max 6 people) and the tutors are selected based on the interviews. Working as a tutor requires going through all of JAMKO’s tutor training, because during the training tutors get all the necessary knowledge and skills to work as a tutor. During the tutor year, you can get 3-5 credits for yourself. Anyone can apply to be a tutor!
