Student card is JAMKOs membership card and you can join as a member for the whole year or just for a semester. Current members need to renew their membership via JAMKO’s website in order to get a valid semester sticker to their student card. Last semester’s stickers expire by the end of September and the renewal must be done to maintain the student benefits. AUTUMN’S FIRST EVENT IC BEACH PICNIC

Join International Club to Tuomiojärvi lake’s beach and chill out in good company listening to DJ on Friday 28.8 at 3pm to 7pm. There will be some snacks available and outdoors games. Bad weather will cancel the event. More info at https://www.facebook.com/events/1629725790643331/
MEMBER SERVICE POINTS OPEN ON JAMK’S CAMPUSES

JAMKO’s member service points open at Dynamo, Music campus and Tarvaala in September. JAMKO’s office is open as usual. REMEMBER ENROLMENT AND REGISTRATION FOR COURSES

In order to maintain your study entitlement, you must enroll for attendance/non-attendance via the ASIO student management system of JAMK every semester. Enroll and registrate for courses by 6th of September. Notice that new students have enrolled via Studyinfo.fi but new students register for courses at the same time as countinuing students. DETENTIONS START WITH ENTRY LEVEL EXAM

Falls funniest lessons are held in Social House with JAMKO’s Detentions – traditional pub quiz. Gather a team of max. 4 people and come to compete for the smartest team of JAMK. UGH! OPENING OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR IS NEARLY HERE

JAMKO’s Opening of The Academic Year is spent in a Native American way on September 10th. The day includes a picnic, cruise and party and you don’t want to miss this day! RENT A BIKE FOR THE AUTUMN SEMESTER

Bicycle shop Polkupyöräkorjaamo rents bikes for students for the autumn semester. Rent is 69 euros + 30 euros deposit that will be refund when the renting has ended.
