Participate in SELL-games in Tampere

SELL-games are one of the biggest multisport-events in Europe that will be organized this year in Tampere, Finland on 13.-15.5.2016. The organizing party is Teekkareiden Urheilu ja Voimailukerho ry (TUrVoKe ry), a Sport Club of Tampere University of Technology. The participation is now open and it lasts until 15.03.2016!  After this deadline you can always ask some free places for the tournament.

The SELL Student Games is a combination of fun, international networking, and student sports. The SELL Games are named after the organising countries: Finland (Suomi), Estonia (Eesti), Latvia (Latvija) and Lithuania (Lietuva). The countries take turns in arranging the SELL Games. The SELL Games have no qualification limits, age restrictions or level requirements – all you have to do is be a higher education student! SELL Student Games is a traditional student event organized annually in some of the SELL countries, Finland (Suomi), Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Name of the Games origins from the first letters of the countries names written on their own language. First Games were organized in 1923. Games are open to all university students from all over the world.

In SELL Games there is always variety of different sports to compete in. In year 2016 in Tampere there will be 17 different sports to take part in. All the sports are competed during one weekend, between Friday and Sunday. There will be participants from different countries far away each other; from Iceland, China, Russia, Kosovo, Great Britain, Bulgaria, and of course from all the SELL countries.

In SELL Games it is not all about winning, it is also to meet people from other countries and have some new friends across the world! Sports to join: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Disc Golf, Floorball, Football 7vs7, Futsal, Judo, Orienteering, Powerlifting, Rugby 7vs7, Table Tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball, Weightlifting and Wrestling (Greco-Roman). The participation fee is 25€/sport/day. If your sport/sports is organized in several day, you have to pay for each day. If you participate as a team, remember to inform the contact person of your team.
