APPLY AS A STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE IN WORKING GROUPS

JAMKO is looking for student representation to working groups of JAMK and KOAS delegation members. Every student who studies for the degree can apply. The council of representatives makes selections in their meeting 18.1.2018. The responsibility requires good skills in Finnish. JAMKO’s representatives are gathering up Thu Jan 18,  the place will be on Rajakatu Campus BP13. JAMKOS representatives will decide student representatives to JAMK corporation board and different work groups in JAMK. All JAMKO members are welcome. Coffee / Tee serving. Meeting is in Finnish. JAMK’s Recruitment events Workday at Dynamo and Main Campus are coming again in January. The events at Dynamo (Jan 31st) and Main Campus (Feb 1st) offer great opportunities to meet with working life representatives of specific field and find a summer job, a project, place for practical training or a thesis subject. Before the actual events, JAMKO hosts a pre-event that enhances students working life skills. REMEMBER TO RENEW LAST SEMESTER’S MEMBERSHIP BY THE END OF THE MONTH

JAMKO’s membership that has been taken for autumn semester 2017 is valid until the end of January 2018.  After that the membership must be renewed to get the student benefits. Membership for spring semester and for the whole academic year are valid until the end of September 2018. GENERAL ADVANCE POLLING STATION AT JAMK MAIN CAMPUS

Wed 17.1.

JAMK UAS Main Campus is one of the general advance polling stations in Finnish presidential election in January 2018. Voting is possible at F1 – lobby during 17th and 19th of January and 22nd – 23rd of January 10 a.m – 6 p.m. Voting there is possible regardless of the domicile of the voter. Every Finnish citizen who is 18 years old by the date of the actual election is eligible to vote and voters must present a photo ID.
