REMEMBER TO RENEW LAST SEMESTER’S MEMBERSHIP BY THE END OF THE MONTH

Wed 31.1.

JAMKO’s membership that has been taken for autumn semester 2017 is valid until the end of January 2018.  After that the membership must be renewed to get the student benefits. Membership for spring semester and for the whole academic year are valid until the end of September 2018. SIGN UP FOR SNOWDAY TOURNAMENTS STARTS

Thu 1.2.

The traditional winter event Snowday is held on Feb 15th 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Event takes place near Rajakatu Campus, at Tuomiojärvi beach. Snowy outdoor day offers fun activities and the legendary snow football and floorball tournaments. FIRST TRUSTEESHIP TEAM

Tue 6.2.

The first Trusteeship team of the year is about the upcoming year, what is about to happen in JAMK and nationally. It’s an open event for all who are interested in current topics that consider students. The event is at JAMKO Café on Feb 6th from 5-7pm. It’s held in Finnish but can be partly translated. NEW EVENT JAMKOBUM STARTS!

Wed 7.2.

New addition to JAMKO’s events is the hilarious JAMKOBum, a music quiz where teams compete in guessing songs. Also the audience plays a big role in winning and may win something also for themselves. GROUP FITNESS IN RAJAKATU´S SPORT HALL

Tue 31.1.

15 of Academic Sports´group fitness classes are arranged in Rajakatu´s sport hall. New releases for this spring are reggaeton class on Wed at 4pm and circuit on Fri at 4pm. EXCEPTIONS IN OPENING HOURS ON MAIN CAMPUS DUE TO DEMONSTRATION

Fri 2.2.

Due demonstration organized by the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK) Sodexo had to reduce the services on Friday, February 2, 2018. Radis, open: 07:45-18:00, Lunch: 10:30-14:00, Dinner: 14:00-18:00,Rajacafe:Closed. Dynamo ja Music Campus are serving normally. Normal service again on Monday, Feb. 5. Sodexo apologizes inconvenience.
