Our office is closed due to the Covid-situation – see instructions

Due to the worsening coronavirus-situation in Jyväskylä, the student union JAMKO has decided that our office will be closed until the end of the winter break (March 8th). This will be done as a precaution to prevent the virus from spreading. The member service points on campus are also canceled.

Until March 8th, JAMKO’s member service will operate via appointment only. You can visit the office on Thursdays by making an appointment between 9-11 am or 12 – 3 pm (visiting time 15 minutes.) The appointment can be made via the Lyyti-service here.

We recommend that you contact us primarily via email or the chat and utilize our remote services. You can visit the office only if you are healthy and only regarding the following issues:

  • Picking up your student card
  • Picking up your membership sticker
  • Picking up / paying for your final thesis binding

Due to the current situation, it is also possible to have your student card mailed to you. If you want your card to be mailed to you, contact jasenpalvelu@jamko.fi and include your address and student number in the email. We do not mail the membership stickers by themselves, so if you are continuing your membership, mail your student card and a return envelope to our office to the following address: Opiskelijakunta JAMKO/Jäsenpalvelu, Rajakatu 35, 40200 Jyväskylä.

The JAMKO Chat -service is open Monday through Friday at 9 am – 3 pm. You cannot make an appointment to visit the office via the chat.

JAMKO’s trusteeship work will continue as normal and we will still organize various remote events for our members.

We are following the developments regarding the situation and will inform about the office’s opening hours in the spring.
