Grumble Weeks on final straight

JAMKO’s Grumble weeks was held 16.3-27.4. There was all kind of feedback from quality of teaching to restaurant services. Grumble Weeks gathered 390 individualized feedback surveys that contained 30 English feedbacks.  This year students had also opportunity to give informal feedback on whiteboards located on different campuses. Given feedback was addressed at study fields’ question hours which were held during March 31st and April 1st. This way all the feedback could be taken in to consideration. There was good conversations between students and staff. The feedback will be processed confidentially in JAMKO during April.

The feedback will be compiled into Finnish reports for every study field. Reports concerning instruction and guidance will be sent to the quality teams of different units and the heads of departments, who will go through them in quality team meetings. Only heads of departments receive full, uncensored feedback regarding their study field. Public reports, which have been stripped of names, open answers and references to individuals, will be published on the student union website. This guarantees both the respondents’ and the staff’s anonymity. JAMKO will publish and answer the most general feedback it receives on its blog.

Grumble Weeks are a part of JAMK Quality Assurance System and the next grumble weeks will be held in spring 2016.
