Supplementary search of JAMKO representatives council

JAMKO seeks additional members to the Representative Council for the term 2022. The Representative Council is the highest decision-making body of the Student Union, consisting entirely of JAMK students. The members of the Representative Council play a key role as part of an active student community and they influence on education, student affairs in JAMKO, JAMK and Jyväskylä.

All students studying for a degree at Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences who have completed the student union membership fee are eligible to apply.

The Central Election Committee confirms the result of the supplementary search of the Representative Council and the composition of the Representative Council after the search period has ended.

How to apply?

During the supplementary application period, the representatives council will be supplemented with 8 available seats of council members in the order of registration. The application period ends when the seats are full.

The application period for the Representative Council will begin on 17 January 2022 at 3 p.m. The application is carried out electronically, and you can apply to the Representative Council with the application form below.

Working in the council

Is it a rough job?

  • work does not delay your studies or take a lot of your time. The Representative Council meets a couple of times a term, but you can take initiatives and participate in activities such as working groups according to your interests.
  • it is not difficult, as matters are prepared and presented at the evening school of the Representative Council before the actual meeting. You are an expert in your own student life and your opinion has an impact.

What are the benefits?
