Laajavuoriday
We welcome all students, and especially the international ones to have a fun wintery afternoon in Laajavuori! Welcome to enjoy outdoors games, sledge riding, and enjoying traditional Finnish smoke sauna and hot tub! JAMKO organizes the event and the food with the support of JAMK International office! Prepare yourself for the event with warm clothes, mittens and hat, so that you are able to enjoy the outdoor activities and remember to take your own towel and a bathing suit for the smoke sauna and the hot tub.
The event is especially for exchange students, but every JAMK student is welcome. Bus transportation to Laajavuori leaves from Rajakatu’s G-doors at 12.00 and the bus returns at 17.00. There are seats for 60 people on the bus. Sign up for the bus transportation are handled through Kide.app.
You can join us with your own ride if the bus is full or if the situation calls it but remember to contact us at tapahtumat@jamko.fi to notify us.
Note! The event is alcohol-free, so you are not allowed to bring your own.
