JAMKO’s opening festival
The traditional three-part spectacle starts off the semester for new and old students alike and guarantees an explosive start to student life year after year! This year you have the possibility to pride yourselves, for example, on the specialities, dialects, highflyers, attractions or the weird things of your own hometowns or countries. Keep your country’s or regions flag high, only the imagination is the limit, when representing your own roots!
The festival begins August 30th with an eventful picnic in Lutakko park from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. During the picnic new and old students can get to know each other, compete in peculiar sports, get familiar the opportunities of the new city with study field student associations, companies and organizations at their stands, get hyped of the annual study field student association races and much more!
Party continues with the massively popular cruise around the lake from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. There’s absolutely no better way to chillax, enjoy the beautiful nature and the best company! The tickets for the cruise are sold in advance, and they are always sold out, so stay sharp.
When the party is back on shore it’s time to advance into the heated atmosphere of night club Bra2 where one can witness the epic scale of the festivals after party. The doors will open at 10 p.m. and the party goes on until the early hours.
The tickets for the cruise are sold in advance on www.bailataan.fi for the price of 13€ (incl. free entry past the line to the afterparty in Bra + overall badge). The ticket sale starts on Monday August 27th at 9 a.m. Be fast with buying the tickets, since they will be sold out in a flash!
