Create JAMKO that reflects you! Vote!
Voting for the Representative elections is underway, and you get to decide which JAMKO students will decide on matters concerning all JAMKO members in 2025. There are 36 candidates in the elections.
Twenty-one regular members will be elected to the JAMKO Representative Council for 2026 by voting between October 27 and November 5. Voting takes place via an electronic link that will be sent to each JAMKO member by email. You can vote in the representative council elections if you have joined JAMKO as a member for the current academic year by October 21.

The best way to get to know the candidates is to use JAMKO’s voting aid app at opiskelijakuntasi.fi. Select JAMKO from the menu to compare the candidates running in the JAMKO representative council elections. The questions in the voting aid app allow you to compare your thoughts on student life, JAMKO, and Jamk with the candidates’ answers. The machine will show you the candidates who have completed the election machine. Whose thoughts best match your own, or does someone offer new perspectives?
The JAMKO election panel will be held on InstaLive on October 28 at 4:30 p.m. During the election panel, candidates will answer questions that concern students and share their thoughts on various topics. You can also participate by asking questions that are on your mind. Who stands out, who gives you food for thought? Follow JAMKO’s Instagram @studentunionjamko and get your popcorns out!
Vote by November 5 at 3:00 p.m.
By voting, you can influence issues that are important to all students. The members of the Representative Council decide, for example, on the amount of the JAMKO membership fee and what issues JAMKO focuses on and spends time on at the UAS. In addition, they influence many issues related to students’ everyday lives in Jamk’s working groups. JAMKO encourages all students to vote and thus influence matters that affect us all!
