TRUSTEESHIP TEAM: FSHS IS HERE!

Tue 5.3.

 

Trusteeship team is an open event for all who are interested in current trusteeship topics that consider students. This time we will address the expanding of the Finnish Student Health Service to UAS students. All students are welcome, alongside study field organization actives. DETENTION: WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT HORROR MOVIES?

Wed 5.3.

 

JAMKO’s Detention continue on 6th of March at Freetime. This time we test your knowledge about horror movies. Gather up a team of max four and come to win this quiz! OPEN LECTURE ABOUT TIME MANAGEMENT

Thu 7.3.

 

JAMKO is arranging an open lecture about time management on Thu Mar 7th. From 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Rajakatu 35, , especially from perspective of organization. Schooling is held by JAMKO-Alumni Miika Toivanen. Lecture is part of JAMKO Academy. We serve Coffee / Tee, something small to bite. Lecture is held in Finnish. WHAT KIND OF SPORTS POSSIBILITIES DO YOU WANT FROM JYVÄSKYLÄ?

Jyväskylä City, JAMKO and JYY organizes an open Student Forum -event in Tanssisali Lutakko on 12.3.2019. Event is held from 1PM to 4PM. The theme for the forum is “Capital of Sport”, that is one of the spearheads in Jyväskylä’s city strategy. The student forum is an excellent opportunity for students to give their perspective on sports possibilities and opportunities in Jyväskylä. Come and give your insight! CHANGES IN VOLLEYBALL SESSIONS

Tue 15.3.

 

There are some changes in Academic Sports’ volleyball sessions in JAMK’s sports hall: Thursday session has ended but there is a new session on Tuesdays at 6-8 pm. The new session starts on 5 of March. More info: www.academicsports.fi

 

SELF DEFENSE WORKSHOP

Tue 26.3.

 

Come to learn basics of self-defense in this intensive two hours workshop. The workshop is on Tuesday 26 of March at 6-8pm in the building L. The fee is 6 euros and registration starts about two weeks before the workshop.

CLIMATE MARCH – ELECTION PANEL DISCUSSION

Almost all parliament election candidates have commitments for Paris Climate Accord to limit temperature increace to 1.5 degrees – but by which means? The local climate action group of Jyväskylä presents the election panel discussion on March 9th Sat. 12pm – 15pm at city main library. The event is held only in Finnish. MENTAL WELL-BEING COURSE

Tue 12.3.

 

Mind+Vibe ry’s Mental wellbeing course (12.3.-15.4.) will be held at the University of Jyväskylä’s Agora building. It includes peer group meetings and optional lectures. Both peer groups and the lectures will be conducted by a group of psychology students, with a few lectures from psychologist Tero Mäki.
