Representatives election candidate filing period extended until October 1st

Do you want to decide, or does somebody else get to decide for you?

The general election committee has decided that the deadline to stand as a candidate in JAMKO’s representatives council elections has been extended to October 1st at 3pm. You still have time to stand as a candidate and become a decision-maker in issues involving students!

In JAMKO’s representatives council, you get to advance the interests of students and make the biggest decisions about the student union. Influencing at the heart of student life opens new doors to the UAS field and allows you to network with the people in the field. In addition, it will look good on your CV! Being a part of the representatives council does not delay your studies or fill your calendar, and based on your own interests, you also have the possibility to take part in JAMK’s working groups.

You can stand as a candidate if you are a JAMK student and a member of JAMKO for the 2021-2022 academic year. The required forms for standing as a candidate can be found on JAMKO’s election page and they must be sent to the general election committee before the October 1st deadline. The forms can be sent via email or dropped off in the green mailbox outside of JAMKO’s office. You can stand as an independent candidate or as part of an election alliance. You can also form your own election alliance.
