Vappujaiset
Vappu vibes, checkpoint race and lots of students. That’s what a VAPPUJAISET is all about!
JAMKO, Konkurssi, JIO, JASTO, MatkaRaTa, Humako, Talent Boost and JES are collaborating to organise the most festive May Day event on Tuesday 25.4. Vappujaiset is a event open to all students, where you go around Jyväskylä and complete fun tasks and activities. This year’s theme is “Finnish summer” and the dress code follows the theme! Whether your summer outfit is your favourite summer hat or a winter coat! You never know what the Finnish summer will bring.
For Vappujaiset, you move in groups of max. 5 people. When buying a ticket, you can buy a group ticket and register your whole team at once, or buy an individual ticket, in which case your group will be determined at the departure area. So you don’t have to have a ready-made group, you can get to know new students through an individual ticket.
The departures for Vappujaiset are staggered every 15 minutes. The first departure is at 15:00 and the last departure at 17:00. For individual ticket holders, departures are at 16:00. Please be at the Rajakatu campus at least 15 minutes before your start time!
Of course, the three best teams will be awarded with great prizes during the afterparty in London! Points will be awarded for points from tasks, costumes and good group spirit.
The doors to the afterparty open at 21:00.
