Freshmen Party

Dress yourself as the Grumpy cat, surprised lightning rat or perhaps as some other thing which shows your favorite meme and come to JAMKO’s traditional Fuksiaiset – Freshmen Party! This year’s theme, Memes, will give you a free pass to dress yourself as any piece of media that has brought you joy or given a face to the feelings, topics and situations which we all face in our everyday life.

The event starts from the parking lot at the front of F-doors of Rajakatu campus, where the participants will gather for group division and the event bracelets. The starting first year students, “fuksit”, will be divided into groups which consist of different study field students and the groups will then journey through points set throughout Jyväskylä, with the lead of the tutors. At these points different event partners, like study field associations, keep different activities which will be scored based on the performance and the atmosphere of the group. The group with the highest score will be rewarded in the afterparty. 

Dressing up with the theme in mind is recommended. We will see you at the Freshmen Party 🙂
