Annual Gala

Did you know that JAMKO is a child of the millennium and turns 25 this year. To celebrate this, we will be celebrating a quarter of a century this autumn with the JAMKO Annual Celebration Week from 29 September 2025 to 4 October 2025, culminating in the Annual Gala at Villa Jääskelä on 4 October 2025.

But what on earth is the Annual Celebration all about and who is it for?

The Annual Gala is a traditional celebration where the student union is toasted, a banquet is served and good music and even better company are enjoyed. There are also speeches and awards for people who have worked actively for the Student Union

All students of JAMKO are welcome to attend, and JAMKO’s important partners, stakeholders and representatives of other student unions are also invited. For the annual party you can wear your best with the dress code being black tie. However, don’t stress about your outfit, your own style should be visible regardless of the dress code.
