TUTOR RECRUITMENT STARTED

JAMKO is recruiting tutors for academic year 2018-2019. You can apply as a Peer or Degree Tutor for your own study fields’ new students or as an Exchange Tutor for incoming exchange students. Application period ends Jan 14th 2018. How to apply and more information: www.jamko.fi/en/recruitment
RENEWING THE MEMBERSHIP AT THE TURN OF THE CALENDER YEAR

JAMKO’s membership that has been taken for autumn semester 2017 is valid until the end of January 2018. It’s possible to renew the membership for spring semester 2018 since 1st of January 2018 and then pick up the sticker starting from 8th of January 2018. Membership for spring semester and for the whole academic year are valid until the end of September 2018. FINAL THESIS BOOK BINDINGS BEFORE CHRISTMAS

The online orders of final thesis book bindings that have been sent to JAMKO by 14th of December until 3pm can be delivered before JAMKO’s Christmas break. Online orders can still be sent after this closing date, in this case the ready books can be picked up since 8th of January 2018 in the afternoon. JAMKO’S CHRISTMAS BREAK

JAMKO’s office, gym and café will start their Christmas break in phases. JAMKO café is open until Fri Dec 15th, gym is open for the last time this year on Dec 16th. Office will be at your service with matters of membership, survival kit and thesis book bindings until Dec 21st at 12 p.m. Services are at use at campus starting from Jan 8th. RECRUITMENT EVENT WORKDAY AND PRE-EVENT

JAMK’s Recruitment events Workday at Dynamo and Main Campus are coming again in January. The events at Dynamo (Nov 31st) and Main Campus (Feb 1st) offer great opportunities to meet with working life representatives of specific field and find a summer job, a project, place for practical training or a thesis subject. Santa Claus is coming to town! Academic Sports’ group fitness and ball games end 17 of Dec. During the last week (11-17 of Dec) ball games are normally but there is a special Christmas schedule. The spring semester is from 1 of Jan to 30 of Apr but you can use sports services right after the purchase.
