Student, participate in the evaluations of the degree programmes

Hey student, apply for evaluations of degree programmes! In the spring semester 2025, the following regular evaluations of degree programmes will be carried out:

One student representative will be selected for each field to be assessed. The student evaluators must be from a different unit than the programme being evaluated – not from the welfare unit.

The student representative will interview a group of students about the degree programme and briefly report the conclusions of what they have heard. By participating in the evaluation, the student gets a feel for the development of the evaluation, and learns an evaluation method that may be useful later in their working life.

No previous assessment experience is required and no knowledge of the content of the degree programme is necessary.The Quality Manager will familiarise the assessors with the role. The student who completes the assessment will be awarded 2 credits for the course “Student active in Jamk”.These will be made with the same language than the degree program is, so this is in Finnish.If you are interested, send an email to epj@jamko.fi and tell what field you study and why you are interested, and/or join the representative council meeting on 12.2.
