Join the club activities
JAMKO promotes student activity, community spirit, and well-being by supporting club activities. We previously informed you about the theatre club, which has gotten off to a great start, and those interested can still sign up via the form. In addition to the theatre club, our activities now also include the JR25 sports trial club and the table football club. Below is more information about these, as well as the long-running Kukkajäärän Kulkijat nature club:
JR25 – Sports Experiment Club
JR25 has been operating since last autumn as an informal club aimed at organizing low-threshold opportunities to try out different sports activities together. During its time of operation, JR25 has arranged various events ranging from Megazone trips to ball game sessions. In addition to sports, the club also hosts more relaxed lounge evenings where board games are played.
The club shares information about its events in a WhatsApp group, which you can join here.
Communication is in Finnish, but you are welcome to join even if you are not a native speaker.
Foosball Club
Are you interested in meeting new people through the noblest of sports, table football? Through the Table Football Club, you can find people to play with and sign up for the association’s competitions. You can join the club by joining the Discord server.
The club operates in English.
Kukkajäärän Kulkijat nature club
In the Kukkajäärän Kulkijat nature club, participants explore local nature together in a relaxed way, walking, observing nature and the changing seasons, sensing, and perhaps learning something new. Events are announced via the Elmo intranet, and the spring excursion dates are as follows:
- March 10, 4–6 PM
- April 13, 3:30–5:30 PM
- May 12, 4–6 PM
