Grumbles: Jamk students satisfied with guidance – digital platforms and traineeships a concern

The feedback from the Grumble Weeks has now been processed and shared with the Jamk Quality Team and the management of the services. This year, the feedback from the Grumble Weeks showed that students are generally satisfied with the guidance and its quality and feel welcome at Jamk. The quality of teaching varies greatly between courses. The digital environments (Peppi, Elmo and Moodle) were clear areas of criticism. Thesis and lack of internships are perceived as bottlenecks in studies.

Development measures based on the feedback will be decided in the units by autumn and will be further communicated by Jamk.

The staff members of the year are Suvi Aunala and Seija Tiilikainen, lecturers in the School of Health and Social Studies. A record 720 responses were received to the Grumble survey this year. Thanks again to everyone who responded. The most active respondents this year were students of culture, with over 15% of them answering the survey. Congratulations to Jammaus for a good marketing campaign!
