Grumble feedback and the staff member of the year

Thanks again to all who participated in the Grumbles! 414 responses were received and their content was reviewed in April at the field specific Grumble Afters where JAMKO’s board members gave presentations of the collected data. There were good discussions about the received feedback during those presentations. The most talked about topics were the need to clarify Moodle spaces, the amount of group work, the variation in the quality of teaching between courses and teachers, and the fact that students are satisfied with the quality of guidance. These themes emerged across all the study fields.

The collected feedback has now been delivered to Jamk’s management, the directors of respective Schools and quality teams as it was given, so that the results can be utilized in Jamk’s development work.

Anne-Maria Raitio, a lecturer from the business unit, was voted as the staff member of the year. Congratulations to her for her good work!

You can find out more about the JAMKO’s field specific presentations on the Grumble Weeks’ website.
