Council Elections: Still time to stand as a candidate
By decision of the Central Election Committee, the deadline for submitting nominations for the JAMKO Representatives’ Council elections is extended until 12.00 on 28 September. There is still time to stand as a candidate and get involved in the decision-making process for students!
Stand as a candidate by filling in the form
In the JAMKO Representative Council you can influence the affairs of JAMK students and make the biggest decisions affecting the student body. Influencing at the heart of student life opens new doors, builds networks and looks good on your CV. Plus, you can earn credits for being a representative! Being a member of a representative body doesn’t delay your studies or fill up your calendar, and you can also get involved in university working groups, for example, if you want to, depending on your interests.
JAMK students who joined JAMKO in the academic year 2023-2024 can stand as candidates. The necessary nomination forms can be found electronically on the JAMKO election website and must be submitted before the nomination deadline. You can stand as an independent candidate or join an electoral alliance or form your own electoral alliance if you wish. The spokespersons of the formed electoral alliances will assist you with election matters and the completion of documents, if necessary.
